Back to Saguijo, good lineup for this Revolver’s event by Cris Ramos. First time to watch Flying Ipis, Wilderness, Twin Lobster and Ernville and I did enjoy the music and performance. I really attended this event to watch Techy Romantics and as always every one loved their music every time they play, same with Hilera, The Butchercons and Turbo Goth who arrived around 2am but it’s worth the wait.

It was my first time to watch this all girl band last Saturday at Saguijo for the Revolver X The Foundation gig. Awesome music and great vocals after hearing their songs The Drive Song, Sssikreto, Lundagin Mo, Beybi and more for the first time. Deng Garcia on vocals, Ymi Sy on backup vocals/guitar, Iris Jumao-as on Bass and Gaki Azurin on backup vocals/drums.
Looking forward for the next gigs of Flying Ipis.
Moonstareros at Tomatokick Maginhawa St. QC
Last meet up was 2008 at Tomatokick as well. I started everything with music events and that’s watching and following the band Moonstar88 since 2002 (i guess?) during the 2nd album launching Press to Play. I’m attending album launching, mall shows and gigs. Now I’m attending and watching different gigs and bands. No facebook, multiply, twitter, etc yet during that time just yahoogroups and supporters/fans do meet up with the band and I was glad I’m still good friends with the people that I met in the group from yahoogroups to facebook page. Nothing much just sharing it. Looking forward for more people to meet, good music and music events.
I was able to finally meet in person Nina Sandejas (ninasandejas.com) at Capones last Thursday. Nina Sandejas is a music photographer/blogger and is one of the photographers that I admire and inspires me in taking photos. She was very nice and answered some of my questions about photography.
Didn’t waste the opportunity of a photo-ops..I’m a fan and she also greeted me at Twitter for my birthday :)

It was my friend’s birthday Bon of Moonstar88 and he celebrated it at Capones Bistro (A.Venue, Makati). Moonstar88 and The Butchercons played some of their songs during the event. Happy Birthday Bon!
